Why Squat first?

The main objective of a squat is to strengthen the lower body muscles and improve overall stability and strength. Although squats primarily involve vertical movement, there are rotational forces involved due to the distribution of forces and the activation of certain muscles. 1. Torque: During a squat, torque is generated around the hip joint. As you lower your body, the glutes and hamstrings contract, creating a rotational force to maintain balance and control. 2. Center of mass: The center of mass plays a crucial role in maintaining stability during a squat. As you lower your body, your center of mass shifts backward, which requires activation of the core muscles to counterbalance the rotational forces and prevent falling backward. 3. Distribution of forces: Squats require a balanced distribution of forces throughout the body. This means engaging the muscles in the lower body, core, and upper body to maintain stability and control. The rotational forces generated by the muscles help with maintaining proper form and alignment.
